Yes, it’s true. I live in NY
Sometimes I have asked myself what makes New York so special. It is a very complex question that I think gets millions of different answers from every person that lives, works and simply visits New York.
For me I have to say it is visceral. It starts in the morning when I go to work with the subway and finishes at night when I go out to discover a new restaurant in the Village or when I exit from a theatre for a stand-up comedy.
So at the end I understand why we use to say that “the true New Yorker secretly believes that people living anywhere else have to be, in some sense, kidding” (found on twitter)
